US Cargo Control Announces Senior Vice President Promotion and New Hires in Response to Continued Growth
Urbana, IA (PRWEB) August 30, 2013 -- US Cargo Control, a leader in the cargo control industry announces a key promotion as well as several new hires in response to another year of expansive growth.
Tim Sanders, VP Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations, has been promoted to Senior VP Operations. In this newly-created position, Sanders will be involved in the daily operations of the US Cargo Control business, overseeing the marketing, sales and service, business development, and purchasing departments. Sanders joined the company in 2010 as a sales specialist, and was named to his most recent VP position in 2012.
Stacey Jones has accepted a position with the company as VP Sales & Service. She will be overseeing a team of 12 sales and service specialists in charge of facilitating orders and quotes for customers, as well as fielding questions regarding products, service issues, etc. Jones brings nearly 25 years of experience in the fields of sales, marketing, and communications, and comes to US Cargo Control from Rockwell Collins where she was a Senior Market Research Analyst.
Ken Duncan has also joined the company as a National Account Manager. Duncan was most recently Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a tie down and lifting equipment manufacturer. He is also currently a member of the Web Sling & Tie Down Association (WSTDA) Load Securement Committee and has also been nominated for the WSTDA board of directors.
Kara Roehr and Ed Duran have joined the company as Sales and Service Specialists. Both Roehr and Duran bring several years of experience in sales and customer service to the department. They will play a key role in the expansion of the company’s weekend hours, which will have specialists available for customer phone calls on Saturday and Sunday to ensure excellent customer service.
US Cargo Control's CEO Tim Guenther announced the news in a company meeting on August 14th, remarking that the changes will allow him to concentrate more on the strategic planning of the brand, which has experienced rapid growth for several years in a row.
“We’ve been in a major expansion pattern this year, nearly doubling our staff in just six months,” said Guenther. “It’s been an extremely exciting time, scaling up our efforts on servicing our customers, as well as focusing on untapped markets; it’s a trend I see continuing.”
2013 has already been a big year for the e-commerce company. In early January, a new 42,750 square foot addition was officially completed, and by February a new sewing and assembly team was hired to begin the on-site production of many of its tie down products for US Cargo Control.
