BH Cosmetics Announces Inclusion in Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Company List

Inc. magazine recognizes BH Cosmetic's meteoric rise in the marketplace.

BH Cosmetics, creator of high-quality makeup palettes and brushes, has been placed on Inc. magazine’s 2013 Inc. 500 list, which recognizes the country’s fastest-growing private companies.

According to Inc. magazine, to reach this distinction, a company had to grow more than 918 percent from the start of 2010. The average company on the list grew 2,900 percent. BH Cosmetics is ranked at 446 on the list.

"We give much of the credit to our products’ high visibility via social media, where beauty influencers have been demonstrating their high quality, affordability and ease of use directly to our target market."

BH Cosmetics burst onto the market four years ago with a stand-out 120-shade palette of eye shadows. Because of the products’ lower price points, the products especially appeal to the 13- to 25-year-old demographic.

In this market particularly, BH Cosmetics has received promotional help from YouTube influencers whose followers in this age group total in the multi-millions. These beauty gurus offer online reviews, tutorials and giveaways, as well as lead customers to directly make purchases.

In addition to being the fastest-growing companies, Inc. magazine calls those on the list the best run, most innovative and most inspiring. Also on the 2013 list are Alex and Ani, LivingSocial, Bojangles, OtterBox and KT Tape. Past honorees include Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Pandora and Oracle.
