Incentive Solutions Kicks Off New “Work On Wellness” Corporate Wellness Incentive Program

This new employee wellness program is expected to help the company reduce medical and insurance costs while increasing morale and productivity. Incentive Solutions was recently recognized as one of the “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in Atlanta” by the National Association of Business Resources, and programs like “Work on Wellness” make it easy to see why. Incentive Solutions has partnered with Workout Anytime to provide all employees with gym memberships, and at the beginning of the program, they had their biometrics (BMI, blood pressure, body weight, percentage of body fat) taken. At the end of the program, the employee with the healthiest reduction in all four of these biometrics will receive reward points that are redeemable for merchandise, event ticket or travel rewards in Incentive Solutions’ online reward mall. If the company as a whole loses over 200 pounds, Incentive Solutions will also hold a drawing to give one lucky participating employee a cruise for two.

A recent Robert Wood Johnson Foundation study found that unhealthy employees cost employers like Incentive Solutions up to $2,250 annually. That number comes from lost productivity, sick time, absenteeism, and medical expenses. They also found that 70% of all healthcare spending in the United States is attributed to preventable illnesses. That makes it easy to see why wellness programs like “Work On Wellness” are so critical to businesses like Incentive Solutions and employers around the world.
