Marstel-Day Recognized Among Nation’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Environmental Firms
Fredericksburg, VA (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- Demonstrating industry-beating growth, Marstel-Day has been named to business management services firm, ZweigWhite’s 2013 Hot Firm List for the fifth consecutive year. The Hot Firm list ranks the top 100 fastest-growing US architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting firms.
“We are proud to again join an elite group of companies that are key to creating a roadmap for a sustainable future, while also helping to propel the nation’s economic recovery,” said Rebecca Rubin, President and CEO of Marstel-Day, LLC. “Most importantly, our growth has accompanied a business model and practices that prioritize environmental sustainability.”
Coming in at number 78, this is the fifth year in a row that Marstel-Day has achieved growth on par with the nation's fastest-growing environmental consulting firms. Rankings are based on a survey of industry firms conducted by ZweigWhite, the publisher of The Zweig Letter, and a national leader in enhancing business performance for architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting firms. Firms were ranked according to their three-year growth rate in gross revenue for fiscal years 2009 through 2012, with 50% of the ranking based on percentage growth and 50% based on dollar growth.
Marstel-Day's employees and offices are devoted to a continuous greening of the firm; in 2013, for instance, Marstel-Day joined two important nationwide sustainability pilots, became the first services firm to gain certification under the National Standards Foundation P-391 Sustainability protocol, published its first company climate action plan, and succeeded in its fourth year of being carbon neutral. CEO Rebecca Rubin has also helped get the word out on key environmental challenges through her Vital Voices of the Environment program, which can be found on the firm’s website.
