Big Canoe Georgia Soon to Echo Again with the Sound of Music
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- Sunset, serenades, and scenery, it’s almost time for that greatly anticipated Concert on the Green at Big Canoe. According to Real Estate Scorecard, it has been one of the most treasured events at this northern Georgia mountain community for more than 30 years.
On September 22, 2013, Big Canoe in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia welcomes the Del Baroni Orchestra back for a second year to serenade residents and visitors with their unique brand of swing and big-band sounds. Toes will be tapping on the ninth hole of the Creek golf course which has one of the best scenic views in all of Big Canoe. This award winning gated community spreads across 8,000 acres and eight mountains.
The natural amphitheater on the hill above the fairway allows the music to echo mellifluously along the trees and the still waters of Lake Sconti. It’s not unheard of to see birds gracefully gliding over the lake with the music playing and the sun setting colorfully in the background. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic baskets to enjoy with friends and family or your favorite Big Canoe social club. Or choose the tasty boxed meals, fruits, and appetizers offered at the golf clubhouse overlooking the lake.
So enjoyable is the event that attendees never want it to end. Luckily, the evening in these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia may continue as Big Canoe's clubhouse veranda and Black Bear Pub will be open for desserts, coffee, wines, and drink specials. And, if Big Canoe's Concert on the Green is anything like last year, there will even be a DJ who will keep the sounds of the big bands humming through the evening.
This northern Georgia mountain community will be talking about the the fun, festivities, and friendship of this event at their Big Canoe social clubs for days and weeks following. There’s never a shortage of opportunities to meet and engage with fellow residents. With over fifty clubs such as art, gardening, fitness, photography, bridge, hiking, writing, golf, Mah Jongh and much, much more, there is something for everyone. Not a club, but important to the community is the Homeowners’ Association. Like a conductor is to an orchestra, the HOA at Big Canoe is organized to enhance the lives of the residents there, and all residents are invited to participate. The HOA sponsors Concert on the Green as well as the Fourth of July Family Day and the Trunk or Treat Halloween event.
So if you're lucky enough to live in this northern Georgia mountain community or are searching for where to retire in Georgia, make sure to attend Big Canoe's Concert on the Green and meet Big Canoe's social clubs. These friendly folks are sure to delight.
