Remember when we could spend a whole afternoon reading? Me
neither. Listen to learn. It’s the new trend.

Brook Forest Voices (BFV) audiobook producer and publisher will be exhibiting at the Southwest Festival of the Written Word in Silver City, NM August 27-29. As part of their participation BFV will present “Audiobooks and Enhanced eBooks” for authors interested in learning about digital technology, focusing on audiobook production and publishing.
Brook Forest Voices will be attending the Festival primarily in the role of an exhibitor. However, as a service to authors and publishers the organizers of the Festival are allowing BFV to present “Audiobooks and Enhanced eBooks” a presentation and discussion designed to enable authors to better understand the technologies involved in digital publishing and to be better prepared to ask the right questions as they research audiobook and enhanced e-book producers and publishers. “Digital technology in publishing is developing at such a rapid rate, that many authors just can’t keep up with it,” stated Diana Andrade, President & Publisher of Brook Forest Voices. “For instance audiobooks have evolved from tapes to CD's to downloads. So we hope authors will take advantage of this opportunity the Southwest Festival of the Written Word is offering them to better inform themselves on this evolving technology.”
The workshop is scheduled for 1:10 pm Saturday, September 28 at the Southwest Festival of the Written Word on the campus of Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM.
