Takedown Sportswear Releases High School Wrestling Rankings
Lawrenceville, GA (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- As summer ends and students begin a new school year, athletes prepare themselves for another year of competition. While high school wrestling season doesn’t begin until October, wrestlers around the country have already begun rigorous training programs to cut weight and achieve peak physical performance.
Takedown Sportswear, a national wrestling gear retailer, is preparing for the upcoming wrestling season. Not only are they stocking up on wrestling singlets, fight shorts and shirts, but for the first time ever they have released a list of high school wrestler rankings. These rankings were carefully reviewed and sorted by the Takedown Sportswear coaches who spent hours watching films and reading about the latest tournaments. The rankings are divided by weight class ranging from the 106 lbs. to the 285 lbs. Takedown Sportswear coach, Terry Allison, believes the new rankings will have a positive effect on the sport. “The rankings create value for individuals to make comparisons with each wrestler in each weight class. This promotes competition in upcoming tournaments and acts as an incentive for the athletes to compete against one another," says Terry.
As a nationally recognized name in wrestling, Takedown Sportswear provides athletes across the country with the gear they need. The high school wrestling rankings are part of an effort to increase discussion throughout the wrestling community. Takedown Sportswear lists their rankings along with the rankings of other organizations on their website to allow visitors to compare results.
