Austin, Texas (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- Halbert Wealth Management, Inc. (HWM) is pleased to announce that the Columbus High-Yield Bond Program will now be known as the Sojourn Managed Bond Program. This actively managed investment was developed by Steven D. Landis, CFP® of Sojourn Financial Strategies of Baltimore, OH and has been a cornerstone of HWM’s AdvisorLink® Program since 2006.
Landis notes, “The name change is designed to better reflect the investment products used in our strategy. Over the years, I have moved away from using only traditional high-yield bond mutual funds. Allocations now include floating-rate bank loan mutual funds and multi-sector bond funds, both of which exhibit price trends that my strategy has historically been able to exploit.”
Since its inception in 2002, the Sojourn Managed Bond Program has produced near-market rates of return with significantly less risk (as measured by monthly drawdown). Of course, there is a risk of loss and favorable future returns are not guaranteed.

Halbert adds, “From the inception of our association with Sojourn, we have been very pleased with Steve’s ability to manage client money with an eye on absolute returns. While the new name will better represent the wider range of mutual funds that Steve employs, Managed Bond will continue to be a ‘slow and steady wins the race,’ type of investment, exactly what many investors are looking for in today’s uncertain market environment.”
