The 2013 Asian Business Expo in Orange County Announced for Tuesday, October 8, 2013
Garden Grove, CA (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- October 8, 2013 is the date set for the 2013 Asian Business Expo. The third ever joint Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, Chinese, Taiwan American Chamber of Commerce, and Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce meeting will also be accompanied by SABAN, AABWA, HKASC, AWE, and TCCC. Promotion of economic growth and social and professional interaction among emerging Asian American markets in the U.S. is the goal of the event. It will be held at the Embassy Suites Anaheim South Hotel, at 11767 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, CA.
By targeting the more than 110,000 Vietnamese Americans, 95,000 Filipino Americans, and 130,000 Korean Americans in Orange County, CA, the Expo is expected to generate goodwill throughout the community. It is also aimed at increasing purchasing power, the ability to obtain government vendor and supplier contracts, and working with large private organizations.
Speakers at the event will include Michelle Park Steel, Vice Chair of the California Board of Equalization and Kevin Lee, a television personality and Creative Director of the event and floral production company, LA Premier. In addition, local politicians, CEOs, business owners, and VIP guests will attend. The Expo will also host Prime Healthcare Services, operator of four major hospitals in the county, which will provide 200 free flu shots in a first come, first serve format.
Over 1,000 guests are expected to attend the 2013 Asian Business Expo. The event will provide networking opportunities and allow attendees to forge new business ties. Business owners of the targeted ethnic groups will have a forum to work together, while attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about one another’s cultures and bordering businesses.
Daniel Kim, the Chairperson of the Expo, said, “This is the biggest and largest Asian business Expo in Orange County. Nine chambers and associations are participating and we are happy to be sharing our success stories together.”
Both small and major local organizations are expected to attend. In 2012, exhibitors included Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, Walmart, Chase Bank, New York Life, and other large companies. Exhibitors also included BankCard Services, Golden Bells Insurance, I-World US, Virus Zero USA, PhiConnect.com, among many other organizations based in the local area.
