Cloudmeter Survey: 68 Percent of IT Execs Say Current Solutions Lack Ability to Capture Critical Customer Data
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- A survey released by Cloudmeter today finds that although capturing customer data is important to a majority of organizations, many companies are experiencing significant challenges with their current data capture and processing solutions that limit insight into their users’ experience and behavior.
The report, sponsored by Cloudmeter, a provider of leading software solutions that transforms real-time network Big Data into actionable information for IT and business users, reveals that:
• 68 percent of survey respondents said their current data capture and processing solution does not capture all of their valuable user data
• Over 75 percent said their current solution does not capture and analyze data in real time
• 59 percent said their current solution has a negative impact on their website performance
• 84 percent said their current solution requires additional coding from their development team
• 73 percent said their current solution is not cloud-friendly
“This survey showed us that companies see great challenges relating to their data capture and processing solutions, and these challenges have a direct impact on their ability to truly understand their customers, and improve their users’ experience—as well as their top and bottom line,” said Ronit Belson, chief operating officer of Cloudmeter. “At a time when analytics and data quality are top of mind for virtually every business, across every industry, Cloudmeter believes that companies shouldn’t have to make sacrifices when it comes to their data. We are focused on helping companies break one of the last barriers to having clear insights into their users’ experience and behavior.”
Cloudmeter Makes Analytics Solutions All The More Powerful
In order to succeed, today’s businesses must be able to understand their customers’ experience and behavior. This means tapping into Big Data sources and leveraging that data to gain critical insight. Because analytic solutions are only as good as the data in them, the need for rendering high-quality data is greater than ever. Organizational roadblocks and technology limitations have left many brands struggling to feed their analytics systems with quality data. Further, analytic solutions alone are not enough. They lack the step-by-step blueprint of the customer experience that can reveal critical behavioral insights. As a result, data and resulting analytics and insights are often misleading, incomplete and inaccessible because of a lack of good data. Enter the Cloudmeter solution.
Cloudmeter represents a breakthrough in making valuable customer information accessible, available and useful for those who are in charge of end-users’ experience, whether their applications run on public or private clouds or within their internal networks. With Cloudmeter, any company can gain real-time access into the wealth of business and IT information without introducing risk to production systems or application performance.
Additionally, Cloudmeter's zero coding approach and ease of implementation allows customers to focus their efforts on analyzing the results, rather than spending time and resources on administrative tasks.
No other infrastructure carries the breadth of valuable information as an organization’s network because everything related to the business travels through it. Until now, this type of data has been difficult to analyze due to limitations of today’s technologies, such as not being able to capture all the information related to the customer experience, risk to production systems, etc. With Cloudmeter Stream and Cloudmeter Insight customers can essentially ‘harvest’ this valuable information by leveraging ultralight agents that passively mine in real-time Big Data streams generated by web applications, all with no impact on production systems.
