Paladin Data Systems, a leading developer and provider of software development, integration, implementation, database administration, and project management services, announced today the development of an updated PRoject Information SysteM (PRISM) grant tracking system for Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO). The updates to the system will allow PRISM and Habitat Work Schedule to synchronize data updates, creating a more efficient system.

RCO’s PRISM is a computer system open to the public to apply for grants, review information on funded grants, and produce reports about projects. The system interfaces with Habitat Work Schedule, the system used to track and report the status and performance of projects related to salmon recovery for a dozen salmon populations listed as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA), which is built on Paladin’s Panoramic technology.

“The enhancement of the PRISM Interface significantly improves Panoramic’s ability to share data with other applications and promotes efficiencies for PRISM project sponsors that will help them save a substantial amount of time,” said Colin Spikes, Paladin Data Systems Portfolio Manager.

The improvements Paladin is implementing will allow the systems to seamlessly pass data related to projects back and forth between the two systems, creating synchronized data for all users. The improvements will create time and cost saving efficiencies and better reporting on salmon recovery projects and the grant management process.
