R&B Divas Los Angeles' Lil' Mo made an appearance on AfterBuzz TV Monday night. In her appearance, Lil' Mo talks about why she will never buy a Dawn Robinson or Kelly Price album, why women need to stop emasculating their husbands, and sings “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” with her husband, Phil Bryant.
Lil' Mo talks about why she won't buy Dawn Robinson or Kelly Price's albums:
“[Dawn and Kelly] almost got [R&B Divas] shelved because they couldn't control the situation or because they wanted to quit. That doesn't sit well with me. As a woman, I can say, 'Alright it is what it is, I'll move on,' but moving forward I don't trust their friendships. I respect their craft, but I won't buy none of their albums...I don't even own either of their albums. To be honest, I don't own none of the diva's albums except for Faith Evans and...who else? Mine. That's real talk,” says Lil' Mo.
Lil' Mo discussing why women need to stop emasculating their husbands:
Lil' Mo says, “There's so many woman that are emasculating their husbands...I'm not naming no names, but that's the man of the house...I'm not here to embarrass [my husband] on TV.”
During the interview Lil' Mo and her husband, Phil Bryant, take a moment to sing “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” a capella.
