Small Business Marketplace Donates $1 Million in Business Valuation Products and Services to America’s Small Business Development Centers

Donation will help small business owners better understand the market value of their businesses, learn more about the business transition process., the Internet’s largest business-for-sale marketplace, announced today the donation of $1 million in business valuation products to America’s Small Business Development Centers. The donation provides America’s SBDC network of over 4000 small business counselors with access to BizBuySell’s Business Valuation tool, as well as educational resources related to buying or selling a business. BizBuySell’s Business Valuation tool is a unique offering that utilizes the industry’s largest database of privately-held business transaction data (over 50,000 sold comps), in conjunction with approximately 45,000 current businesses listed for sale on BizBuySell to determine true business value.

America’s SBDC network is the most comprehensive small business assistance network in the U.S., funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Their approximately 1000 nationwide service centers are available to provide no-cost business consulting and low-cost training to both aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small business owners.
