Healthy Eating, Exercise the Focus of New Culinary and Fitness Adventure – Hilton Head Health
Hilton Head Island, SC (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- Hilton Head Health (H3) has created a rewarding weekend getaway that packs some of their best culinary and fitness experiences into just three days. Culinary and Fitness Adventure participants will spend mornings in H3’s state-of-the-art Healthy Kitchen learning to prepare delicious meals, while in the afternoons they’ll explore the island’s beautiful beaches and lush wetlands by bike, kayak and even stand-up paddleboard.
“The Culinary and Fitness Adventure is a perfect way to escape the boring 9-to-5 lifestyle, refresh your senses and learn how to live healthier,” says H3 Fitness Director, Danielle Dunn. The three, 2-hour hands on cooking classes cover The Principles of Healthy Eating, The Art of Sushi and 10 Days of 30 Minute Meals. “The workshop is limited to 12 participants giving you the opportunity to interact with the Executive Chef, and later with Professional Naturalists, one-on-one,” commented Dunn.
In addition, participants are treated to two private gourmet dinners in the Healthy Kitchen hosted by Executive Chef Jennifer Welper. “Each dinner consists of five incredible courses with wine pairings, but participants will be even more amazed when they find out that the total meal is less than 600 calories!” says Welper. To top it all off, each participant will enjoy a 55-minute signature massage as part of the workshop.
