Suffolk, Virginia (PRWEB) August 30, 2013
Suffolk residents will have a chance to discover the many types of services, programs, and non-profit organizations that are available right in their own backyard.
Suffolk Lifestyle Expo, set for Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn on Constance Road, will have a wide diversity of exhibitors. Some 40 exhibitors will participate, including a pediatric physician practice, the YMCA, banks, home health agencies, investment planners, private schools, a country club, as well as the local community college.
Sponsored by Lake Prince Woods, Cross Realty, Home Instead Senior Services, BB&T, the Suffolk News Herald, and the Hilton Garden Inn, this first-ever event has something for everyone.
"Suffolk has a wealth of businesses, health providers, and other resources people may not be aware of," noted Lake Prince Woods Executive Director Judy Raymond. "We thought it was important for Lake Prince Woods to sponsor this event so we could help showcase what a diversity of opportunities are close to home."
Demonstrations and programs during the day will highlight jobs that are in demand in the Suffolk area, a Zumba demonstration, chair massages, and a golf professional giving advice on choosing the correct golf clubs.
