Synagro Announces Two Key Hires, Strengthening Senior Leadership As Company Plans For Strategic Growth
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- Synagro Technologies, Inc. today announced two key additions to its management team as part of its plan to continue to strategically grow the Company in crucial markets and industry segments, and cement the Company’s position as an industry leader.
Chris Dunkerley has been named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Ed Andrechak has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Dunkerley will continue to drive cost management, while supporting the Company’s trajectory of strategic financial growth. He comes to Synagro with over 25 years of experience in both multinational and startup companies, where he has spearheaded extensive financial growth and development. Immediately prior to joining Synagro, Mr. Dunkerley was instrumental in the expansion and successful acquisition of Redzone Robotics as its Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. More than 20 years of Dunkerley’s career was spent Siemens in roles with progressive financial responsibility including, CFO of Siemens Water Technologies from 2004 – 2009.
In the newly-created role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Andrechak will drive sales growth through improved market analysis, enhanced sales training, cultivation of industrial accounts, and the formulation of targeted marketing programs. He joins Synagro with more than 30 years of experience in environmental services, where he has led business development and sales across a variety of industries, including petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
Mr. Dunkerley and Mr. Andrechak join Synagro as it completes the transition to its Baltimore headquarters.
