Sandy Monaghan Joins Edison Properties As Executive Vice President Of The Hippodrome
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 31, 2013 -- Edison Properties announced today that Sandy Monaghan has joined the company as Executive Vice President of The Hippodrome building, located at 1120 Avenue of the Americas, in New York City.
The Hippodrome is a 21-story, 680,280-square-foot, Class A office building in Midtown Manhattan that includes street-level retail amenities, executive office space and a 620-space, attached Edison ParkFast parking garage. It is also home to the company’s Executive Suites and Pre-Built Suites workspace offices.
Mr. Monaghan will be responsible for the asset management and sales efforts of The Hippodrome. He will focus on maximizing the long-term value of the property through active strategic positioning, oversight and coordination of a top-flight team of on-site managers, and branding, sales and marketing efforts.

Mr. Monaghan has expertise in asset management, commercial leasing and investment sales and acquisitions. He previously served as Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield in New York and was the national practice leader of its Resolution Group, providing asset recovery solutions to clients with underperforming real estate. Mr. Monaghan was also responsible for Cushman & Wakefield’s property management business in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Monaghan was Vice President of Asset Management with JP.Morgan in its Global Real Assets division. While there, he managed a $3.5 billion, 5-million-square-foot portfolio of office and industrial assets in New York City, New Jersey and Boston, as well as a national self-storage and medical office portfolio.
