Plainfield, IL (PRWEB) August 30, 2013
August has been a successful month for Spring-Green Lawn Care. Three new franchisees made it official when they signed their franchise agreements at the National Training Conference earlier this month. The new owners include Frank Garrett of Pilot Point, Texas; Chad Shaylor of Cogan Station, Penn.; and Barry Robinson of Fredericksburg, Va.
Two, Garrett and Barry, took advantage of Spring-Green Lawn Care’s Green Associate Roll-In Program. This fast track program is designed for qualified candidates who own independent green industry businesses that already provide professional lawn and tree care services and want to convert that portion of their business to a Spring-Green franchise while keeping their existing company intact. Shaylor bought an existing business. All three have owned and operated burgeoning green industry businesses for a number of years.
Frank Garrett is the owner of Federal Pest Solutions in suburban Dallas. Garrett has been in operation since 2001 and over the past decade has expanded beyond traditional commercial and residential pest control by customer demand. “My residential clients began requesting fertilization and lawn pest control,” said Garrett. “With Spring-Green, I now will be able to offer even more options.”
Like Garrett, Chad Shaylor is another green industry veteran who has been involved in the business since 1997 and has owned and operated Shaylor’s Lawncare since 2004. What started out as strictly a mowing operation, Shaylor’s Lawncare now offers landscaping, hardscaping and pond services. Shaylor will purchase an existing Spring-Green franchise that has been in operation for nearly 10 years.
“A long-time employee of the local Spring-Green will be joining me as I expand my business,” said Shaylor. “Our customers will continue to receive the same great service as we head into our fall lawn care season.”
In 1995, Barry Robinson decided to combine his 25 years of experience in the pest control industry with his entrepreneurial spirit. The result? AAA Pest Pros, Inc. What started as a home-based business, AAA Pest Pros grew quickly and in 2002, several major changes were made. The name was changed to CSI of Virginia, and the company began offering lawn care and home inspections.
“We have been providing our customers with services such as weed control, aeration, and lawn fertilization for a number of years, but I knew we were not maximizing our potential,” said Robinson. “I was so impressed with Spring-Green’s operations, specifically the franchisee-focused marketing efforts, that I knew it was what I needed to take my business to the next level.”
Robinson will begin servicing existing and new clients as a Spring-Green Lawn Care franchisee in September. He expects his business to grow more than 20 percent in 2014, his first full year as a Spring-Green Lawn Care owner.
The three new owners will complete their training at Spring-Green’s headquarters in early September.
