StockViews Launches its Interactive "Morning Meeting"
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 30, 2013 -- StockViews, the social network for serious investors, today launches its interactive "Morning Meeting". The Morning Meeting pulls together the most important news impacting the US markets and is released on the site each day before 7.30am ET. The comments at the meeting draw on content from Wall Street analysts, from financial news sources and from the activities of our own "Star Traders". The focus will be on market-moving news affecting US stocks as well as key macro data.
The new format allows for members to record their attendance, whereupon their avatar will appear at the Morning Meeting conference table. Members can also post their own comments, using "cashtags" to link back to stocks on the site. The avatar will indicate the performance record of that member, allowing others to make a judgement as to credibility.
StockViews was built with the idea of allowing members to have a focused discussion around an individual stock. The Morning Meeting will now allow members to hold broader discussions around factors affecting the market such as the economic outlook or policymaker decisions.
Brian Godoy, spokesperson at StockViews, said "Our new Morning Meeting is designed as a fun way for our members to interact on serious topics. The conference table, populated with avatars, allows users to quickly see who else is attending."
The decision to launch the Morning Meeting feature follows a period of beta testing, which received a positive response from existing users. StockViews will continue to develop and improve the format to ensure it meets the needs of its users.
