Former NFL Falcon Brian Finneran to Emcee 2013 CFS Pink Ribbon Classic Reception

The American Cancer Society announces former NFL wide receiver Brian Finneran will emcee the seventh annual CFS Pink Ribbon Golf Classic reception to be held at The River Club in Suwanee, Georgia on September 23, 2013. The event is ACS’s largest golfing fundraiser and is sponsored by CFS Corporation.

Former NFL Atlanta Falcon wide receiver Brian Finneran has been tapped to emcee the 2014 American Cancer Society’s CFS Pink Ribbon Golf Classic Player Sponsor Reception in support of cancer research, advocacy, education, and patient service programs. Begun in 2007 and open to lady golfers only, it’s ACS’s largest golfing fundraiser, honoring the memory of those who have lost their battle with cancer. Brian began his career with the NFL joining the Seattle Seahawks in 1998 and last played with the Atlanta Falcons. Brian played college football at Villanova. Brian is currently Host of Atlanta’s Official NFL Pregame Show broadcast on The Fan 680AM and 93.7FM.

All proceeds generated through the event will directly support the ACS’s programs including: Hope Lodge in Decatur, Georgia; Patient Resource Navigator at Gwinnett Medical Center; Road to Recovery and Look Good…Feel Better, a community-based free national program for women.
