Leading SBC Designer Introduces Latest Freescale ARM Processor-Based Embedded System

The Android system is based on Freescale’s i.MX 6 Cortex™-A9 processor. The i.MX 6 is outfitted with an array of multi-media tools that enable full-frame rate high definition video (1080p30) including: NEON media processing engine, hardware accelerated codecs, and OpenGL® 3-D graphics accelerator. The compact SBC is 2.5 inches per side and offers a wide range of peripherals including: USB, Ethernet, serial ports, camera, display, and wireless interfaces.
In addition to standard peripherals, the semi-customizable board offers configuration options, including a dual or quad core processor,1/2/4 GB DDR3, and 16/32 GB eMMC NAND flash. A single core version, Siren-F6, is also available. InHand also offers custom engineering and design services to OEMs requiring unique, low-power solutions based on the i.MX 6 processor.
