Ace Canopy is known for its philanthropic programs like canopies for kids or tarp aid. Now the canopy is company is creating a new line of pink products that will generate awareness for breast cancer research, as well as giving a portion of the money sales.
Ace canopy CEO and founder Michael Stein told us, “We are thrilled with our pink products line of canopies, pop-up tents and accessories. Our pink line falls right along with the type of company we want to be.”
Over 200,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the United States alone. It is the leading causes of cancer deaths among women of all races. Breast cancer is the 2nd most common cancer in the United States – skin cancer being the 1st. Ace canopy wishes to battle both cancers with their products. The company promotes shade canopies and pop-up tents as a tool to prevent harmful sun exposure. Now they plan to hit breast cancer head-on by promoting the new pink product line and at the same time donate a portion of the proceeds towards breast cancer research.
Ace canopy general manager Angelina Urquhart says, “We think it’s an exciting twist to offer the pink pop up tents and promote skin cancer and breast cancer awareness and at the same time offer a portion of the proceeds of each sale towards breast cancer research.”
Abadak the mother company of Ace Canopy will be adding other types of pink accessories to be a part of the program. The projected launch of the new pink product line for ace canopy will be December 2013.
