Rooftop Fall Protection System Now Available as Fiberglass Option from W.S. Safety
Orilla, Ontario (PRWEB) August 30, 2013 -- W.S. Safety, a Canadian construction site safety engineering company located in Ontario, today announced that is now distributing a fiberglass version of the SafetyRail 2000 called the SafetyRail 2000FG. The product, produced by BlueWater Manufacturing and distributed in Canada by W.S. Safety, is made with a polyester fiberglass that is UV coated, fire retardant and -- most importantly -- will not interfere with telecommunication equipment RF signals.
The SafetyRail 2000FG follows in the path of the SafetyRail 2000, an innovative fall protection system considered to be the most comprehensive and portable in the industry. Both are able to be used as temporary or permanent rooftop fall protection equipment. Neither require drilling, making them roof-saving and non-penetrating. Both allow for quick installation and endless configurations. Both products are also OSHA approved and meet multiple building codes for permanent and temporary guard railings.
“Once again, our partners BlueWater Manufacturing have identified a problem and come up with a great solution,” says Ryan Michels, COO of W.S. Safety. “This Fiberglass version of the SafetyRail 2000 will be a great fit for any building where fall protection equipment can interfere with communications equipment.”
Besides the material itself, the two product versions vary slightly in sizes available. The SafetyRail 2000FG comes in a 5 foot maximum rail length, while the traditional version comes in 7.5 and 10 foot options. The SafetyRail 2000FG comes in yellow or grey, while the original version comes in a powder-coated yellow guardrail and base, galvanized guardrail and base, or custom powder-coated rail colors. Both versions provide rooftop fall protection, protection around roof hatches and skylights, and a variety of other applications.
