The New Rochelle Downtown Grand Market is open every Saturday to hundreds of visitors and to more than two dozen vendors at 1 Library Plaza from 9am to 2pm. The festive neighborhood farmers market features local farm-fresh fruit and produce, fish, meats, cheeses, baked goods and many other specialty foods. The success of the first year of farmers market has continued to attract several vendors that will be available at the August 31st market including:
A Place 2 Go Caribbean Restaurant – fantastic, slow cooked BBQ brisket, jerk pork, jerk chicken and macaroni &cheese.
R&R Farms – Specializing in Mexican produce such as pipiche, alache and two kinds of papalo and chiles.
Little Luscious Dessert Company – Fantastic fresh dessert by local food entrepreneur featured in the New York Times.

In addition, the August 31st market will feature the Young Tycoon’s inaugural booth with flavored popcorn and lemonade made by and sold by young entrepreneurs ages 8-16 from New Rochelle schools.
