Bambu Desserts & Drinks Announces Grand Opening of its Newest Shoppe in Newark

Bambu-Newark's grand opening will take place this Saturday, August 31st welcoming the local community and Bambu lovers from the entire Bay Area. This newest Bambu is located at 6058 Mowry Avenue, Newark, California at the corner of Cedar Boulevard and Mowry Avenue. Located in Lion Food Center--- this popular area is an Asian mecca making it an ideal location for a Bambu.
Bambu-Newark will begin its Labor Day weekend grand opening celebration at 9:00 am Saturday and end Monday at 9:00 pm. There will be $3.00 drink specials Saturday through Monday. “We welcome all our friends, family and community to come join us for the celebration,” said Janice Huynh, co-owner of Bambu-Newark. “Come taste the delicious well-loved Bambu chè.”
“Our kids introduced Bambu to us and it was love at first taste,” said Kimhoang Nguyen, co-owner of Bambu-Newark. “We knew that owning a Bambu was the right opportunity for us since we already had the support of our family. We are ready and very excited about our upcoming celebration.”
Bambu Desserts & Drinks was founded in 2008 by four sisters in San Jose, California. With nineteen new shops opening in the past 2 years, Bambu has become nationally known for its fresh, healthy and colorful Vietnamese-inspired chè, fresh coconut drinks, Vietnamese espressos, blended coffees, and exotic smoothies.
