Luigui Corral, broker/owner of RE/MAX United in Wheeling, Ill., recently was named one of the Top 250 Latino Real Estate Agents in the United States by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). He ranked 27th in the nation and second in Illinois among Latino agents.
This was Corral’s second consecutive appearance among the Top 250 Latino Agents, an annual ranking report that was initiated in 2012.
NAHREP evaluated the 2012 sales achievements of more than 27,000 agents in compiling its 2013 ranking. More RE/MAX agents are ranked among the Top 250 Latino Real Estate Agents in America than agents with any other brand. An analysis of the ranking shows that 33 RE/MAX agents closed 2,874 transactions, the most of any participating brand. The average number of closed transactions per RE/MAX agent was 87.1.
Corral, 37, entered the real estate industry in 2007, immediately joining the RE/MAX United office in Wheeling, where he rapidly established himself as a top producing agent. He captured the 2008 Rising Star Award from the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network as the outstanding agent with 18 months or less of professional experience. In 2010, Corral and another agent acquired RE/MAX United from its prior owners, and plan to open their second office in Round Lake Beach, Ill., later this year.
