Private Island Entertainment is gearing up to launch the busy Halloween season with three PR campaigns aimed at raising awareness about its product line of costumes, party supplies and accessories. The New York based company is launching the campaigns on September 1st. This initiative includes a photo contest, which will be run on their social media platforms, as well as several Guinness World Record attempts.
The photo contest will run from September 1st through October 31st. Every Sunday during the month of September, Private Island Entertainment LLC will publish a photograph that features one of its products. Participants will be asked to come up with a witty and creative caption for each week’s featured photo. Weekly winners will be announced each Monday for five consecutive weeks beginning on September 9th, 2013. Winners will become semi-finalists and will automatically be entered to participate in the finals round which will take place from October 14th to October 28th. The prize for the weekly winners will be $100 cash and a free Halloween costume from Private Island Entertainment LLC. The grand prize winner will be decided by popular vote and will receive an additional cash prize of $1000.
In addition to the photo contest campaign, the company will also be attempting to set two different Guinness World Records using accessories and costumes from their product line for the attempts. The Guinness World Record attempts will be held on each coast, one in Los Angeles and one in New York. These attempts will be held in September and October to promote company products during the Halloween season.
