“These kits help communicate a clear and visible work flow to employees and pedestrians and improve safety and productivity in the work place,” explains Cliff Lowe, the Managing Director of InSite Solutions.

Stop-painting.com has developed new arrow kits for directional marking with their Superior Mark floor marking tape. These arrow kits include three pieces of Superior Mark tape that create a 34 inch wide and 36 inch long arrow. These arrow kits are available in 2 inch and 4 inch tape sizes and can be used for single direction or multi-directional use.

Superior Mark floor tapes are quick and easy to install with their peel and stick featured installation and come precut so there is no need to cut or butt splice tape to create the arrow marking. Superior Mark tape is ideal for high traffic areas with its beveled edges which will prove to be long lasting and durable.

“These kits help communicate a clear and visible work flow to employees and pedestrians and improve safety and productivity in the work place,” explains Cliff Lowe, the Managing Director of InSite Solutions.

OHSA 1910.176 (a) regulation requires aisles to be marked appropriately for mechanical equipment to communicate traffic flow in the work place. Using the directional arrows will create a understandable work flow so employees can conduct work safely and proficiently and comply with OSHA regulations.

These kits can also be used to give direction for pedestrian crossings and traffic control. Using Superior Mark arrows instead of paint to indicate cross walks will be more cost and time efficient. Painting cross walks can call for a large amount of paint, and a painted cross walk will be unusable during drying time. Superior Mark arrows are ready for traffic as soon as applied and come in a variety of colors.

An additional benefit of using arrows to mark crossings instead of parallel, ladder, or diagonal lines is that it allows for much less material to be used. By using spaced arrows and pedestrian signs for crosswalks the material used can be reduced by up to half. Stop-painting.com also offers self-adhesive floor signs for pedestrian crossings and traffic control to help enhance visibility.
