Chekkt, a new SaaS Marketplace, Will Serve Startups and SMBs
San Francisco Bay Area, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- Getting a startup off the ground is quite a challenge. Considering the rising number of startups being established every day - it is not surprising that some of them will eventually address this internal problem as a serious business model - aiding other startups with a successful launch.
Israel-based Chekkt.com is such a startup - its declared purpose and vision is helping startups hit the ground running. With a wide inventory of business software and cloud-based apps, Chekkt aims to assist “any freelancer, entrepreneur or startup founder…[to] discover, compare and buy the tools most suited for their business,” says Ori Manor, CEO.
While there are already a few competitors in the field, they do little to guide new business owners through the entirety of the B2B buying process. “The decision making processes of new businesses are not all that different than those of individual consumers,” says Ori. By “consumerizing” the B2B shopping experience Chekkt is providing significant value to its users, making it a one-stop-shop for freelancers, SMBs, serial entrepreneurs, and everything inbetween.
Chekkt has received its first investment of $1.25M in early June of this year, which enabled it to increase its merchant base considerably and develop a unique matching algorithm that helps users discover relevant software. The platform will go live around the beginning of April, 2014.
