In a bid to offer a service like no other, WeCome have spent years creating and perfecting a tour across Europe, comprising of cultural itineraries based on their “Park and Gardens” route and on the “Olive Oil” route across stunning scenes and locations. This has led to the WeCome packages being recognised by the Council of Europe as a cultural route.
WeCome, an acronym for their company motto – “Hidden WondErs of our COMmon European heritages," the company itself provides and interesting take on touring the south east of England, exploring olive oil trails and vineyards and the park and gardens route.
They define themselves as a project rather than a tour operator, which gives an insight into how they prepare, operate and enable travellers to experience the cultural and historical heritage links between five regions;
- Lucca in Italy
- Saranda in Albania
- South Peloponnese in Greece
- Trabzon in Turkey
- Kent in the UK
For tourist professionals operating in these areas, the project represents an opportunity for collaboration and for visitors, a chance to explore lesser known areas rich in history, culture and traditions.
