MedToGo Congratulates Its Puerto Vallarta-Based Orthopedic Surgeon, Max Greig
Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) September 03, 2013 -- MedToGo is proud to congratulate orthopedic surgeon, Max Greig, who has recently concluded his tenure as the Director of the Puerto Vallarta Medical School and is embarking on a new adventure as the Director for International Programs at the University of Guadalajara.
While Dr. Greig will be sharing his expertise in the field of orthopedics, he will continue to create life opportunities for American and Canadian patients who require knee, shoulder and hip joint replacement surgery.
“American and Canadian Patients of all ages flock to Dr. Greig’s orthopedic practice in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico,” says Robert R. Page, Vice President of Operations for MedToGo. “Over the years he’s developed a reputation as being the go-to guy for expats and foreign visitors as he was trained in the world’s best universities, has stellar success rates, and speaks flawless English – he’s the poster child for medical tourism.”
Greig, born in Mexico to North American parents, grew up in Puerto Vallarta. He began his illustrious career by completing medical school and orthopedic surgical training in Guadalajara. He then traveled to Texas and Germany for surgical rotations before returning to his hometown to establish a successful orthopedic practice. Greig is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and serves as a delegate to both the American and Canadian consulates in Puerto Vallarta.
When patients contact MedToGo for joint replacement surgery options, Dr. Greig is their first referral. His reputation for providing affordable, problem-solving treatments is second to none. Greig and his surgical team use an anatomical surgical approach as well as state-of-the-art joint implants made in Europe or the U.S.
“Every need is cared for,” says Greig. “Even the surgical reports are written in English with U.S. health codes.”
Greig, who speaks English, Spanish and what he calls “passable German,” is an advocate for transparency. He offers a realistic diagnosis along with possible risks and non-surgical alternatives. Greig’s exceptional approach to joint replacement surgery has earned him a position on the MedToGo International team of surgeons.
“I partnered with MedToGo because they are the most professional patient facilitators in the medical tourism business,” says Greig who first met MedToGo’s founder, Robert H. Page, M.D. in 2005. He was impressed with Page’s passion for providing safe, alternative options for patients “underserved by the U.S. and Canadian systems.”
Greig looks forward to continuing his relationship with MedToGo, even with his new responsibilities. Among his many professional and civic duties, Greig runs a non-profit organization designed to treat children with orthopedic disabilities in Puerto Vallarta.
“I want to continue bringing hope and smiles to the citizens of the future,” says Greig. “Basically, I love people, and what I can do for them improves their life styles.”
