“Successful collateral optimization must take a wide variety of factors into account,” says the study, which outlines some of the latest techniques used to optimize collateral. “Optimization algorithms should also consider efficient allocation of assets across the entire collateral portfolio on a real time basis.”

The whitepaper, entitled ‘Collateral Optimization: Beyond Cheapest to Deliver and the Big Red Button’ discusses some of the recent advances in collateral management and optimization. It also details how optimization has moved on from cheapest to deliver methodology.
