Fire Fighters Pay Tribute to Duck Dynasty with "Do The Uncle Si"
Mcdonough, GA (PRWEB) September 03, 2013 -- Duck Down and Buck Shot recently released its first single, "Do The Uncle Si", a bouncy tribute to Si Robinson, one of the stars on A&E’s "Duck Dynasty" who has captivated audiences with his wacky mannerisms. The men behind country music’s catchiest anthem are firefighters Danny Spohn, Nick Eubanks, Gerald Seabolt, Matt Henry, and Henry County Board of Education employee, Jeremy Mills.
After recording the song, there was such an overwhelming response from family and friends that it was suggested that the song be sold on iTunes. Much to their surprise, it started selling a few hundred singles a week with absolutely no promotion. Since then, Atlanta’s hit country radio station 94.9 The Bull began to play it on its Backyard Country Show and it has now become one of the highest requested songs on the show.
Not only is it a great song, it's going to be an even better video. The band is currently trying to raise $5,000 to shoot their video for "Do The Uncle Si." With your help, you can make this video a reality. They have created a crowd funding campaign to help fund the music video on indiegogo.com keyword "Do The Uncle SI". They’re hoping all Duck Dynasty fans will go to their campaign page on indiegogo.com and make a donation that will help fund the video. There are various perks for making different size donations, from T shirts, Hats, to CD’s to even a hunting and fishing trip with the group. The funding campaign ends September 27, 2013.
The single is now available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play. The band can be found on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/duckdownandbuckshot and http://www.duckdownandbuckshot.com.
