PenFed Branded ATMs Now Available in Select Rite Aid Stores in Maryland, Virginia, and Greater D.C. Metro Area
Alexandria, Va. (PRWEB) September 03, 2013 -- PenFed (Pentagon Federal Credit Union) announced today that PenFed branded ATMs are now readily available in Rite Aid stores throughout select locations in Maryland, Virginia and the greater D.C. Metro area.
The arrangement not only creates a larger user access portal for both PenFed members and the public, alike, but provides PenFed with the opportunity to increase its brand awareness in Rite Aid stores throughout these regions.
“We have thousands of members who live in these combined regions, and so it is a pleasure to announce that we are extending PenFed branded ATM services in these convenient Rite Aid store locations,” said Kevyn Myers, executive vice president of card services with PenFed. “This service arrangement allows us to more than double our fleet in an efficient, cost effective manner.”
The Rite Aid stores that are hosting the PenFed branded machines have been carefully selected with convenient access in mind. Members can expect to find PenFed branded, custom-designed screens that are enhanced with features such as faster processing speeds, added security and a variety of upgraded cash-dispensing configurations.
The new locations will provide PenFed members and non-members with safe, convenient access to up to 167 regional ATMs. Additionally, PenFed is exploring other partnership opportunities that will allow the credit union to continue to expand its ATM services in membership hubs where PenFed branches are not readily available.
The ATMs are surcharge-free to all PenFed members using PenFed cards. A $3.00 transaction fee will apply to non-members.
