Fully integrated projected management enabled the project to be delivered on schedule to a strict three month deadline.
Leeds, West Yorkshire (PRWEB UK) 3 September 2013
Warehouse Systems Limited, a Leeds and Manchester based pallet racking and mezzanine floor company, have successfully deployed a full racking and shelving solution for Denby Pottery meeting a strict three month deadline.
The delivery of pallet racking was successfully achieved on schedule aided by fully integrated project management – enabling the WSL team to meet the technical challenges quickly and deploy the appropriate solutions.
In order to support the growth of Denby Pottery, Denby planned to upgrade their existing distribution centre in Huthwaite to a 100,000 square foot unit at Bemrose Park in Derby. Following intensive relationship building from the sales team at WSL and the development of a strong strategy - WSL was successful against three other competitors. Following the approval of the initial proposal and design, the project needed to be delivered within a three month window.
The solution designed and delivered by Warehouse Systems incorporates 8,000 pallet locations of racking which include low level picking shelves valued at over £160,000. One of the most valued aspects of the solution provided by WSL was their ability to remain independent during consultancy. Because WSL are not tied to any particular supplier, this enables WSL to recommend only the best products for installation determined by the clients requirements, not pre existing relationships.
