Nebraska organizations attending this sales audit workshop at a subsidized price will learn how to conduct sales audits and accelerate sales.

Jill Slupe, president of Verde Martin, provider of sales audit and sales acceleration services to organizations in Omaha, Nebraska, and Chicago, Illinois, as well as nationwide, announced the company will offer a unique sales audit workshop called Sales Audit Certificate to teach organizations how to conduct sales audits on their own products and services. The workshop will be offered over a period of eleven weeks, from October 8, the date of the first class, to December 3, the date of the last class. The workshop is being offered in partnership with the Creighton Business Institute though Creighton University’s College of Business, and held at the university’s Harper Center. The classes will be led by Slupe and Creighton sales and marketing professor, Trent Wachner, Ph.D.

The Verde Martin sales audit historically has delivered an average sales increase of 30% for participating companies. Until now, the audits have been available only through a professional auditor. Now, through the workshop’s in-person sessions and online sales audit modules attendees will complete between classes, businesses are able to analyze their own products and repeatedly gain the benefits of sales auditing.

“It is exciting to offer this powerful self-guided tool to companies that want to boost their sales,” Slupe said. “Students will be able to complete audits as many times as needed, to improve sales of multiple products and to complete future updates. Not every company does this, and that gives those who do it the upper hand in the marketplace.” Slupe said the workshop includes practical exercises that apply to every business.

The workshop is arranged in five sessions: Intro to the Sales Audit Process, Steps of the Sale, Marketing, Talent Management & Systems, and Measuring Results. Each attendee will come away with a strategic sales plan specifically geared to their own organization, plus key performance indicators and an action plan.

The cost of the workshop normally is $1,000, but a grant through Nebraska Workforce Development made it possible to offer it for just $275. It also is possible to attend single classes for $80 each.
