Browser add-on experts BestToolBars have announced the release of a brand new tool. Cashback Builder is designed to simplify the development of cross-browser cash back browser plug-ins.

The new tool is a fusion of two of BestToolBars’ areas of expertise; it unifies the firm’s experience in building online cash back browser plug-ins and its successful cross-browser frameworks. Together the two knowledge bases have been unified to create a tool called Cashback Builder.

Based on the pre-existing Add-ons Framework which BestToolBars created to make it as easy as possible to build cross-browser plug ins for all major browsers with just a single version of code, the Cashback builder is a quick and easy way for cash back companies to build their own dedicated, branded plug in.

Cashback Builder is packed with features, including a range of functionality available right out of the box:

1.    Cashback/Coupons notification Slider: This feature notifies the plugin user that he/she is on an applicable merchant’s website and prompts them to enable the cash back affiliate link.

2.    Search Engine Page Results Injection: This feature highlights the cash back company’s affiliated merchants in the results pages of any major search engine. Studies show that icons next to search results help users to make a decision regarding their eventual merchant choice much quicker. The injection can also display messages on the same screen, telling the user how much of a cash back they can get from each affiliated merchant. This makes the decision making process much easier and potential savings much clearer.

3.     Addons Menu: You can display information from your user's profile in a menu pop-up on the browser add-on. This information can be personalized and could include for example the amount of cash back the user has earned so far. This area can also be used to display other notifications such as special deals and promotions to increase user engagement with the plug in.

Valery Kuznetsov, Key Projects Manager at Besttoolbars said, “We have used all of our plug in development know-how to create the Cashback Builder. Using our experience, we have simplified the process of making a cash back extension and ensured that any company with an online cashback website is able to quickly and easily extend its functionality and reach with our new tool. Cashback Builder is easily configurable to support the user’s API so that merchant data and new offers are updated in real time.”
