CPCU Society to Spotlight Key Reinsurance Issues at Dallas Symposium
Malvern, PA (PRWEB) September 04, 2013 -- Reinsurance professionals will convene to learn about recent changes and trends in the reinsurance field at the third annual CPCU Society Dallas Reinsurance Symposium. The program, presented by the CPCU Society Reinsurance Interest Group, is set for Monday, Sept. 16, at the Hilton Anatole-Dallas in Dallas.
John D. Doak, the Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner, will deliver the symposium’s keynote address, and expert speakers will lead specialized sessions on these topics:
•Regulatory updates
•Emerging risks in claims
•The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
•The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association
•Insurance technology and cyberrisks
Attendees interested in receiving continuing education credits for Texas and Oklahoma licenses, can earn seven CE credits for participation in this program.CPCUs in attendance will be awarded seven continuing professional development (CPD) points.
The symposium will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a cocktail and networking reception from 5 to 6 p.m.
