The look book reports that in 2012 the volume of promotional holiday emails increased 19% over 2011 and that last year online retailers sent an average of 5.3 emails in the five days between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday. It also notes that the highest volume email days in 2012 were Cyber Monday, Free Shipping Day, Green Monday and Thanksgiving, during which between 83 and 93% of all online retailers sent at least one message on each day.
