Mediafed Scales U.S. Executive Team as Company Expands in North America
London, England (PRWEB) September 03, 2013 -- Today, Mediafed, the global leader in news feed distribution and content discovery, announces a major hire as Eric Rosenberg, formerly of ValueClick, joins the company as Vice President, U.S. Sales. His responsibilities will include leading Mediafed’s U.S. sales team and developing long-term strategic partnerships, as the company ramps up its presence in North America in support of ongoing requests from U.S. publishers wishing to partner with Mediafed.
Rosenberg most recently led the Performance Media Division for ValueClick, one of the world’s largest digital marketing companies, working with a range of Fortune 500 clients and the nation’s top advertising agencies. Prior to ValueClick, Rosenberg held senior sales and operational roles with Datran Media, Equifax and SkyTel Media. Rosenberg will report directly to David Wightman, Chief Commercial Officer of Mediafed.
“Mediafed is rapidly gaining momentum throughout North America with both publishers and brand advertisers,” said Wightman. “Adding someone of Eric’s pedigree to lead our US sales efforts was a natural progression as we expand our product offering."
“I couldn't be more excited to join such a forward thinking media organization at a time when Mediafed has the potential to become a dominant worldwide force in digital content distribution, discovery and monetization,” said Eric Rosenberg, Vice President, Mediafed U.S. Sales.
In 2013 alone, Mediafed has added 127 premium U.S. publishers to its list of partners and this number only continues to grow. In the past year, Mediafed grew its mobile viewership in the U.S. 83 percent. In April 2012 its mobile U.S. article views were at 34 million, and in April 2013 these views reached 186 million, signaling ongoing momentum for the company.
Mediafed works with over 2,000 premium publishers across the globe, and in the past year has added U.S. publishing powerhouses like Hearst, Gawker Media, Reuters, Washington Post, CBS Interactive, ABC, NBC, Fast Company, The Atlantic and Business Insider. Every month, its proprietary technology platform distributes over 3 billion pieces of breaking news publisher content to the desktops and mobile devices of over 200 million loyal and engaged subscribers in real time, across the globe.
