The Loretto’s newest package is an opportunity for guests to take New Mexico’s delicious food culture home with them to be enjoyed throughout the season.
Santa Fe, New Mexico (PRWEB) September 04, 2013
The Inn and Spa at Loretto announces a fun new package in honor of New Mexico’s annual fall chile harvest. Each August, in a treasured long-standing tradition, the aroma of green chiles roasting permeates the air in Santa Fe. Synonymous with the state’s unique cuisine blending Spanish and Pueblo Indian flavors, green chile is added to everything from eggs and breakfast dishes, to hamburgers, entrees and even desserts and cocktails. The “Go Green…Chile Package” helps guests celebrate the Land of Enchantment’s official state vegetable with a package centered around green chile.
The Loretto’s “Go Green…Chile Package” includes:
- Luxury accommodations of guest’s choice at Santa Fe’s iconic Inn, from traditional rooms to the Inn’s newest 2,000 square-foot Penthouse
- Locally grown and harvested New Mexico Green Chiles, with free shipping included to send your chiles safely home
- Tasting New Mexico cookbook by Cheryl Alters Jamison and Bill Jamison featuring one hundred classic recipes including favorites like Green Chile Stew and Chiles Rellenos
- A step-by-step guide to roasting and preparing green chile at home
An optional add-on to the “Go Green…Chile Package,” the Inn at Loretto recommends the Spa at Loretto’s Green Natural Pedicure—a sweet, early fall indulgence for your feet. Guests luxuriate in a natural footbath while reclining in zero gravity chairs, followed by a stress-reducing treatment that includes a relaxing massage and a detoxifying seaweed mask for feet and lower legs. The 75-minute treatment is available for $109. Guests are also encouraged to sample the cuisine at Luminaria, The Inn and Spa at Loretto’s award-winning restaurant. Chef Brett Sparman’s menu incorporates green chile into traditional dishes to give them a Santa Fe infusion of flavor.
“Green chile is a classic New Mexico staple,” said Dana Ortega, Marketing Director at The Inn and Spa at Loretto. “The Loretto’s newest package is an opportunity for guests to take New Mexico’s delicious food culture home with them to be enjoyed throughout the season.”
The “Go Green…Chile Package” starts at $190, not including taxes and a $14 per room, per night resort fee and is valid now through October 31, 2013. This offer is based on availability and is valid for new reservations only. Offer is available for purchase online at http://www.innatloretto.com (promo code CHILE) or via phone at 866-582-1646. Not valid for groups.
