The new center helps make couples’ dreams of becoming parents a reality by offering a variety of both female and male fertility treatments, including in-vitro fertilization (IVF), surrogacy, egg and sperm donation, miscarriages, robotic surgery and more.

Dr. Hernandez-Rey has helped hundreds’ of couples conceive by resolving fertility concerns, particularly in the areas of advanced maternal age, polycystic ovary syndrome, reproductive surgery and fertility preservation in cancer.
He holds three board certifications in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Surgery by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hernandez-Rey is the only Infertility specialist certified in Robotic Surgery in Miami-Dade County and is a reoccurring fertility expert in both print and broadcast media, such as the Spanish-language television program TuBebé, Miami’s Radio Caracol 1260 and WADO 1280 AM. Dr. Hernandez-Rey completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital and his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a member of numerous professional societies such as the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), the Society for Gynecologic Investigation (SGI), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Dr. Hernandez-Rey is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the prestigious peer reviewed journal Fertility and Sterility, and has published several articles and chapters in the medical literature.
