Dr. Black's Eye Associates Celebrates 30 Years of Eye Care with New Interactive Website
Jeffersonville, IN (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 -- Dr. Black’s Eye Associates is celebrating Friday’s launch of the practice’s new “Have 2020.com” website.
“When we say ‘new,’ we really mean ‘new’!” says eye surgeon Dr. Brad Black, founder of Eye Associates. “The website has been totally redesigned, and we have added a long list of features that we think our patients will find engaging and useful.”
LASIK and cataract surgeon Dr. Kris Pugh adds, “The launch of a new state-of-the-art, easy to navigate website is a great way to mark Eye Associates’ thirty years of bringing state-of-the-art eye care technology to the Indiana and Kentucky communities we serve.”
New features include LASIK and cataract quizzes, a photo tour of Eye Associates’ Jeffersonville and New Albany offices and the outpatient eye surgery center, downloadable forms for new patients, and a full complement of educational videos.
“We looked for the best available educational material, and we think that everyone will be as impressed with these eyemaginations® animations as we are,” says Dr. Pugh. “They pair well with the expanded educational material available through the website. Visitors to Have2020.com will find more of what they want to know about how the eyes work, common eye disorders, and state-of-the-art treatments, such as laser cataract surgery.”
Pugh adds that Eye Associates was first to bring femtosecond laser cataract surgery technology to the region. “We knew that we needed a website as high-tech and amazing as the treatments we offer.”
“We focus our training, experience, and technological resources on helping our patients to see life clearly,” says Dr. Black. “Our web developer (Medical Consulting Group, LLC) incorporated ‘responsive design’ into the website, to ensure that our patients will be able to ‘see’ it all clearly, even if they are viewing it on a smart phone or a tablet.”
Dr. Black's Eye Associates serve southern Indiana and north central Kentucky via a network of more than a dozen offices and satellite locations on both sides of the river. They offer laser cataract surgery, bladeless LASIK, procedures to manage glaucoma and retinal disorders, as well as pediatric eye surgery, and can be reached by calling (888) EYE-CARE.
