"555 Days of Prayer to Save America" Participants Pray for "The Church" as "The Church" Prays for the Nation and the World

The planner and vision-caster behind "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" Robert Berry, discussed the growing momentum within the 555-day-long prayer initiative, yesterday, with "Save America Gathering" administrative staff.
Robert P. Berry, the retired United States Army Captain and prayer event leader, first recalled October 20, 2012's "Save America Gathering," in Washington, DC. Berry was asked about that event, and, "555 Days of Prayer to Save America:"
"We gathered there, in Washington, DC in obedience to God's call, last year; and, there on the National Mall, church broke out! Thousands of people were blessed!" said Berry. "We gathered under the scriptural guidance of 2nd Chronicles 7:14, which says: "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.""
"There was wonderful worship, organized by our sister, the event's Worship Coordinator, Courtney Mosley. There was prayer and preaching, and we held up the Gospel of Jesus. And all Christians and Messianic Jews, worldwide, were invited to gather with us. To the world's Christians: Where were you? We were there, in obedience. We worked hard to gather as many brothers and sisters as we could. Now, in view of the present situation, where we need the same brothers and sisters to pray, obedience is easier for everyone, hence, we are having more success in gaining participation around the country. No one need travel or expend monies to pray! Everyone has seen the need to pray for our earthly home, The United States of America. So, join with us, and pray! Where are you? Pray through the prayer phases we have completed: prayer to ask for God's ear, prayer to thank God, and prayer asking forgiveness and mercy for our personal sins and shortcomings. Then, everyone may continue with us as we pray intercessory prayers for the sins and shortcomings of The Church, our current prayers segment. Ironically, as we pray for The Church, The Church is praying for the world, right now." And," Berry added, "remember "National Back to Church Sunday," next Sunday, September 15, 2013. Bring a friend; bring a family!"
Berry continued, "1st Peter 4:17 says: "For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" We were a seed, and that seed is continuing to grow. The unity we called for amongst the Body of Christ in intercession for our country, the United States of America, was still the goal. Now, we are called to fall to our knees, daily, to ask for God's ear, to give Him thanks, to ask forgiveness for our sins and shortcomings, to ask forgiveness of the sine and shortcomings of the Body of Christ, His Church; to ask forgiveness for the sins and shortcomings of The United States of America; to ask for restoration and purification of our people, The Church, and, finally, to ask God for the healing and restoration of our land and nation. Then we will be a nation fulfilling Isaiah 1:17: "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow."
"555 Days of Prayer to Save America" is at day 189. The prayer initiative takes its title theme from the 555-foot height of Washington, DC's towering Washington Monument, the highest point in the Capitol city. The prayer event is termed "A Monument in Prayer, to God," by the planning coordinators from Christian non-profits "Save America Gathering" and "One Church // One Voice." The current prayer segment, a 100-day-long prayer asking for mercy and forgiveness for the sins and shortcomings of The Church, is at day 35. Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11, 2013, the anniversary of the 9 -11 Terror Attacks; participants will be 190 days into the prayer. Tomorrow, 365 days will remain in "555 Days of Prayer to Save America."
This prayer initiative is scheduled to end on September 11, 2014, with "The Great Wave Offering," which will feature The United States Christian Flag and the Kingdom of God Flag.
