Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) September 06, 2013 -- Southern Medical Association (SMA), a leading provider of continuing medical education (CME) and an organization accredited by the ACCME with commendation, announces online continuing education for physicians. Beginning immediately, Southern Medical Association will provide a comprehensive online CME catalog located in the Education Center accessible through the SMA website, http://sma.org. SMA will provide a wide variety of courses covering topic areas such as: Women’s Health and Ob/Gyn, Internal Medicine, Ethics, Family Medicine, Disaster Preparedness, Spirituality and Medicine, and Health Reform.
SMA wants to ensure that participants have access to high-quality content that can be used toward their professional education requirements and growth. “We are very pleased to be offering an online CME option for our members,” stated Luke Hartsfield, Executive Director of SMA. “Continuing medical education is a key factor in quality patient care and online CME enables busy medical professionals to participate in ongoing learning where and when it is most convenient.”
