Three S1 Model mini cranes made by Smart-Rig Cranes are being shipped to TAI Aerospace this week to be used as portable, mobile helicopter and aircraft maintenance support units.

The S1 Model mini crane by Smart-Rig Cranes is ideal for aircraft maintenance and repairs.

Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. is the center of technology in design, development, manufacturing, integration of aerospace systems, modernization and after sales support in Turkey.

Smart-Rig Cranes is a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of small cranes and portable lifting equipment. They carry two model mini-cranes, the S1 battery powered model and the T1 electric version. Both models are eco-friendly and use no gas or fuel.

TAI Aerospace will use the three S1 model cranes on helicopters and aircraft for repairs and maintenance.

"The S1 Model is known for aircraft maintenance," states Josh Clark - founder and CEO of Smart-Rig Cranes. "Jetstar Airways and Bombardier Aerospace have been saving time and money using the S1 model portable equipment for airplanes and aircraft for years."

Mr. Clark states their Smart-Rig Cranes are multi-purpose lifting units and can be applied to many industrial applications including glass installation, HVAC, steel erection, engine repair and more. Both models are narrow in design and can fit through a doorway and inside an elevator or in the back of a truck. Unlike most floor cranes, the Smart-Rig Cranes can also be used on rooftops to pull materials up the sides of buildings.

The Smart-Rig Cranes use ASME B30.5 standard hoists and are CE marked for EU markets.
