Clarity Health Adds Former HCA and McKesson Executive to Management Team
SEATTLE (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 -- Clarity Health Services, a rapidly-growing provider of care coordination solutions for medical practices and health systems, today announced the appointment of Karlynn Billings as Vice President of Business Development for the Southeast Region. Based in Florida, Billings brings more than 15 years of experience in healthcare management and business development, including her most recent role as National Vice President of Sales at McKesson Specialty Health and The U.S. Oncology Network. Prior to that, Billings served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).
“We’re very excited to have Karlynn bring her deep healthcare expertise with market leading organizations to Clarity,” said Clarity Health CEO Bill Bunker. “Her strong track record in the Southeast and her proven ability to lead teams and build businesses in the healthcare market will be invaluable as we build on the rapid growth we are experiencing.”
In her new role, Billings will report directly to Bunker and will be responsible for driving regional sales and business development by providing Clarity Health’s care coordination solutions to Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), physicians and health systems. Her sales expertise covers a wide range of markets including oncology, pain management, orthopedics, cardiology, psychiatry, surgery, neurology, and infectious disease.
“I have spent many years working to ensure patients see the providers they need most, but unfortunately we still have a broken process for accomplishing this among many medical practices and health systems,” said Billings. “I joined Clarity Health because I believe it is closing this gap in care and the Southeast region is hungry for the innovative care coordination solutions the company offers.”
