CPCU Society Selects International Ambassador: Arun Kumar Will Represent International CPCUs at Annual Meeting
Malvern, PA (PRWEB) September 06, 2013 -- Arun Kumar V, CPCU of Bengaluru, India was selected by the CPCU Society International Ambassador (CSIA) Program to represent international CPCU Society members and new member candidates at the 2013 CPCU Society Annual Meeting, October 26 to 29 in New Orleans.
With the growing numbers of international Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU®) and CPCU candidates, the CPCU Society has expanded its presence outside of the United States. International CPCUs and CPCU candidates face different challenges than those in the U.S., including finding study support and taking CPCU exams in a second language. The CSIA program was established to recognize a foreign-based CPCU for his or her efforts in promoting the CPCU designation globally and provide financial support for him or her to attend the CPCU Society Annual Meeting.
Kumar serves as a principal consultant in the Management Consulting Practice at Infosys Limited and has worked with property and casualty insurers, reinsurers, and trade credit insurers across multiple continents, including North America, Central America, Europe, and Asia.

Over the last ten years, Kumar has pursued insurance academic qualifications, starting with the courses offered by the Insurance Institute of India, which culminated in him being conferred the Fellowship in 2007. He earned The Institutes’ CPCU designation in 2010, and in 2012, he was elected as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom.
