Opening General Session/mechanical Industry Forum Led by Kevin McCartney; Well-known Industry Leader Educates Audience About Significance of Fluids
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) September 06, 2013 -- Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) is pleased to announce Kevin McCartney will headline the discussion at the Opening General Session/Mechanical Industry Forum in Las Vegas. McCartney, longtime owner of Automotive Support Services in Fresno, Calif., will speak on the hidden liabilities and opportunities in fluids and lubricants. The Opening General Session/Industry Forum will take place Thursday, Oct. 17, from 8-9:30 a.m. and immediately precedes the show floor opening.
New this year, the Opening General Session/Mechanical Industry Forum is included in all registrations, and all attendees are encouraged to attend.
“Vastly different from years past, we’ve completely redesigned the Opening General Session/Mechanical Industry Forum and attendees can expect a much different experience,” stated Dan Risley, ASA executive director. “So much of the information shops use and pass along to their customers about oil and fluids tends to come from their fluid marketing representative, and this session will provide the REAL story about what is and isn’t good for your business and your customer.”
“Modern specialized fluids and lubricants are more demanding and confusing than ever before, yet they also yield significant opportunities for shop owners,” said McCartney. “Attendees will leave this session with a clearer understanding of each type of fluid and an improved ability to identify, sell and market the differences when they return to their shops.”
The Opening General Session will also feature a concurrent Collision Industry Forum led by renowned industry leader Mike Anderson. Details regarding Anderson’s presentation will be announced soon; additional information can be found online at http://www.asrwevents.com.
