Nashville, TN (PRWEB) September 07, 2013
Although this is not the first golf event he has organized, this is the first one that owner and operator Cole Evans has done through his Nashville agency, Good People Creative.
Set for October 28 of this year, the Good People Golf Tournament is a four-man scramble, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Songs for Sound, a Nashville organization supporting cochlear implant programs that give the miracle of hearing to deaf children.
“The relationship between Good People Creative and Songs for Sound is simple,” Evans explains. “We made a three-year commitment to help them in every way possible when it comes to marketing.” He continues, “We are currently handling all of their social media, we have video capabilities to increase their exposure, and the golf tournament is just another great way to put a spotlight on a great charity that is creating some much needed awareness.”
Songs for Sound is currently in its third year, has hosted 10 events nationally, and has raised nearly $450,000. According to Founder/Director Jaime Vernon, “With this tournament, we are excited to try something new, and we hope that being involved in such an awesome event with Good People Creative will introduce us to a new audience and demographic, and hopefully elevate our Nashville presence.”
Entering a team on the Good People Golf website is easy, and registration will remain open until all of the slots are full. The first, second, and third place winning teams will win a number of great prizes, including golf bags and gear, gift cards, and trophies (details are available at http://www.goodpeoplegolf.com/).
“October is a great time for golf tournaments,” says Evans, “it’s usually not too terribly hot, and since it doesn’t interfere with any major holiday, we can expect a good turnout.”
The Good People Golf Charity Tournament is right around the corner, so sign up, hit a few balls, win a few prizes, and help a great cause!
